Last sunday we shot the children’s program “Proefles”, from Dutch TV Channel VPRO. Players from all over the country (and France!) gathered for a great afternoon of Polo. We’re looking forward to the result.
In the meantime, check the pics:

Another brilliant Polo video. This time about the Bristol Open, celebrated last weekend and won by London’s Team Spring Break.
The World Championship of Hardcourt Bike Polo took place last week in Seattle, USA. French Champions - and one of our favorite teams - Call me Daddy, made it all the way to the final. They lost 5 - 4 against Canadian team Crazy Canucks. If you see the video you can easily identify the differences between the American style of playing and the European. Why do we like the European style better? Because it doesn’t involve endless elbowing, takes more skill and is a joy to watch.
Congrats to Call me Daddy and keep up the excellent work. You guys are masters!
Georg Kronenberg has taken some awesome pics from the tournament in Gießen, Germany. You can easily judge by these pictures how we were having a great time. We’ll be there next year!

Created in the late 19th century in Ireland as a cheaper (and certainly cooler) alternative to classical Polo on horses, the game was featured in the 1908 Olympics in London. Check the event on Facebook:
An urban version has appeared around 2006 in some of the main cities across Europe and the United States growing exponentially every year and gaining popularity amongst bike enthusiasts due to the excitement involved.
A day for all enthusiasts to come try and see what Bike Polo is about and why are every time more and more people across Europe and the US getting into it.
If you like to ride a bike, you will love to play Bike Polo.
All ages, genres and bikes are welcome. Come and have a blast with us!!!
Amsterdam Polo is departing right now, as we type this, to what’s already expected to be the TOURNAMENT OF THE YEAR in GieSen, Germany. A format that’s never been done before, where all players have to do their very best to get to the final 30.
We’ll keep you updated. Stay tuned!
Giulio, Alex, Tom, Biancha, Raul and adopted brother Jamal (from Eindhoven) went to the already famous London Open tournament (this is the second edition) and we had a wonderful time!
Incredible high lever on the organisation (impeccable in every aspect), the level of playing and the good vibes shared with players from the continent. The closest we ever been to a Woodstock-like experience.
The final was truly electrifying with the Swiss-German team Supersonic beating french champions Call me Daddy 5 - 1.
One of the sweetest things witnessed was the team Warin, formed by three brothers from Bristol. One of them, Alfie (aged 12), was the youngest Polo player anybody has seen on a tournament. Despite being a really cool little guy, he was a very good player! We lost our voice while cheering for his team on saturday. Watch him on the family picture, top right, wearing a red t-shirt and being carried by Giulio.
Can barely wait for next year’s!!!!
